About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Associated Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing civil design projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional engineering license (P.Eng.) with the Engineering and Geoscience British Columbia (EGBC).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil design, with a strong background in project management.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with experience in design, specifications, cost estimating, tendering, and construction.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
