We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Planning and Quality Improvement Lead to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Clinical Quality Patient Safety portfolio, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and evaluating the accreditation program to support operational improvement priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of new or redesigned accreditation activities to support operational improvement priorities.
- Establish frameworks, plans, and objectives to outline accreditation outcomes and ensure alignment with other program operations and evidence-based practice protocols.
- Provide consultation and advice to program leadership on the development and implementation of systems and processes to monitor and manage quality performance critical incidents.
- Facilitate and coach clinical program/service teams to support the development, monitoring, and analysis of key quality performance indicators.
- Develop and recommend tools and mechanisms to measure, monitor, and evaluate the progress and outcomes of clinical initiatives to improve the quality and safety of care, service delivery, and utilization.
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline.
- Seven (7) years' recent related clinical experience in a nursing and/or allied health care discipline in an acute health care environment.
- Five (5) years' recent related experience leading program development and/or quality improvement initiatives/projects.
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
- Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement principles, methods, and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to apply project management and/or quality improvement methodology.
