Job Title: Lead, Program Planning

Job Summary:

As a Lead, Program Planning at Fraser Health, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's vision, values, and purpose. You will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and services to ensure they meet the needs of the target population and are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of new or redesigned services and programs to support operational improvement priorities.
  • Establish frameworks, plans, and objectives to outline operational improvement initiative outcomes.
  • Provide consultation and advice to Program Leadership on quality performance critical incidents, including client complaints.
  • Develop and implement education plans for quality improvements.
  • Facilitate consensus with stakeholders and ensure new or redesigned programs are ready for implementation.
  • Provide facilitation and coaching to clinical program/service teams to support the development, monitoring, and analysis of key quality performance indicators.
  • Develop and recommend tools and mechanisms to measure, monitor, and evaluate the progress and outcomes of clinical initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline.
  • Seven years' recent related clinical experience in a nursing and/or allied health care discipline in an acute health care environment.
  • Five years' recent related experience leading program development and/or quality improvement initiatives/projects.

Competencies:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement principles, methods, and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply project management and/or quality improvement methodology.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
