About the Role

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical systems for various projects, including commercial, residential, and public works buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Create and revise engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and verify design requirements.
  • Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including technical reports and submittals.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a consulting firm space.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
