Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Position Overview: As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical systems for various projects, including commercial, residential, and public works buildings. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create detailed designs that meet project specifications, codes, and standards. Key Responsibilities: * Develop detailed mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. * Create and revise engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software. * Collaborate with project teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards. * Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and verify design requirements. * Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions. * Prepare and review project documentation, including technical reports and submittals. * Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Qualifications: * Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field. * Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a consulting firm space. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required. * Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Effective communication and teamwork abilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
