Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to join our team at Beechville Lakeside Timberlea Sr Elementary. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our before and after school care program, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of child care staff to provide high-quality care and supervision to students before and after school
  • Develop and implement engaging recreational programs for students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students
  • Manage the daily operations of the before and after school care program, including staff supervision and student supervision
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year's experience in the child care field
  • Knowledge of recreational programming
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent

Assets:

  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
