Position Overview

The Front Desk Hotel Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel’s front office. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities and providing exceptional service to guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Formulate and enforce operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Engage with vendors to secure favorable terms for supplies and materials.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk activities to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage budgets while monitoring financial performance.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Organize and supervise maintenance tasks to uphold facility standards.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints effectively.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months in a relevant role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
