Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Fantasyland Hotel, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests and staff during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations: Balance food and beverage departments, perform nightly computer backup and PC transfer, and prepare reports for distribution to department heads.
  • Customer Service: Handle guest complaints effectively and efficiently, answer all calls courteously, and provide assistance with luggage and valet parking.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile credit card, billing accounts, and gift certificate accounts, and prepare hotel and department revenue and informational reports.
  • Team Support: Assist with front office duties during shift, and provide support to other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: One to two years of night audit experience or front office experience within a hotel environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Education: Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is a definite asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or pull luggage, boxes, etc. for storage of up to approx. 30 LBS.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a full-time position that must be available Monday through Sunday from 10pm – 8am.
  • Must hold a valid Class 5 License and be able to provide a 3-year driver's abstract.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
