Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Exhibit exceptional teaching skills in the classroom.

  • Effectively communicate the significance of Jesus within the historical, cultural, and theological contexts of the New Testament.

In addition, the Chair will engage in research within New Testament Studies, contributing to the academic community through publications, presentations, and active involvement in scholarly organizations. The role also includes collaboration with the Chair of the Department of Biblical and Theological Studies to enhance curriculum and programs in alignment with the strategic priorities of the university.
