About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor of Evangelical Studies to join our team at the Vancouver Institute for Evangelical Worldview. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of the next generation of evangelical leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Academic Leadership
    • Advise students on course and academic matters, providing guidance on career decisions and research opportunities.
    • Conduct research in the field of evangelical studies, publishing scholarly articles and presenting at conferences.
    • Develop and teach university courses on evangelical theology, history, and culture.
  • Research and Publication
    • Conduct original research in evangelical studies, resulting in peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
    • Collaborate with colleagues on research projects, fostering a culture of academic excellence.
  • Service and Community Engagement
    • Participate in faculty committees, contributing to institutional policies and departmental matters.
    • Engage with the local community, promoting the values and mission of the Vancouver Institute for Evangelical Worldview.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Evangelical Studies or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in academic leadership, research, and teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
