Job Description

Overview

Microsoft's Enterprise Team is dedicated to empowering customers on their digital journey, from envisioning new possibilities to delivering solutions that drive targeted business outcomes and revenue growth. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to drive digital technology transformation in partnership with your customer, achieving both Microsoft and customer business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a mature, dynamic multi-year customer account plan, leveraging proven methodologies to manage a sustainable, long-term business portfolio.
  • Orchestrate the execution of strategies for assigned accounts, ensuring engagements yield high-volume sales, drive revenue growth, and open new opportunities for both Microsoft and partners.
  • Articulate Microsoft's and partners' point of view, creating deep connections with decision makers throughout multiple levels of the customer's organization to drive purchase decisions and increase interaction and participation.
  • Engage in strategic discussions, articulating ideas to evolve and facilitate evolution of customer business models, using Microsoft capabilities to solve complex business problems.
  • Proactively elevate stakeholder relationships, using Microsoft sales strategies to secure buy-in and execution, and expand strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer.

Requirements

  • 13+ years of experience in working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation.
  • 6+ years of experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
  • 8+ years of experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.

Additional Information

The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $141,000 - CAD $212,000 per year. Microsoft will accept applications for the role until July 12, 2024.
