About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at SAB 1313 SOLUTIONS INC. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Assist in the safe and efficient transportation of building materials to and from construction sites.
  • Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs: Collaborate with experienced carpenters to construct and assemble building frames, walls, and roofs.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and storing salvaged materials.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work: Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of construction equipment and tools.
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris: Safely remove debris and rubble from construction sites to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work Environment
  • Work Site Environment: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heights, dusty, and hot environments.
  • Work Setting: Work at various locations, including construction sites.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, physically demanding, and repetitive tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, team player, and hardworking individual.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
Working Conditions
  • Hours of Work: 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language of Work: English.
