About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at Sahnewal Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Site Preparation: Help erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to prepare the site for construction.
  • Assisting in Framing: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working closely with our experienced carpenters to ensure high-quality results.
  • Demolition Support: Assist in demolishing buildings, safely and efficiently removing debris and preparing the site for new construction.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work, including repairs and replacements, to ensure our equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of our workers, visitors, and the general public.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn from our experienced team members.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
