About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at 1947640 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Assist in the transportation of construction materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Collaborate with our team to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Assist in Framing and Construction: Provide support in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working closely with our experienced carpenters to ensure precision and attention to detail.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Assist in cleaning and organizing salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Collaborate with our team to remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements
  • Basic Security Clearance: Possess a basic security clearance, ensuring compliance with company security protocols.
  • Physical Capabilities: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks, adhering to our company's physical demands.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a strong team player attitude, essential for success in our fast-paced construction environment.
