Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on RBC's Business and Client Classification, offering expert guidance across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to enhance the quality and accuracy of business and client classification content.
  • Address inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring stakeholders receive the necessary support.
  • Collect, analyze, and organize data, including large datasets, to maintain data integrity.
  • Update reference data and integrate new tables into the internal database.
  • Oversee the maintenance of reference data pages and linked resources on the internal RBC Intranet.
  • Participate in resolving data-related issues and contribute to the development of effective resolution strategies.
  • Engage in both routine and project-based work within an agile framework, utilizing tools like JIRA to achieve objectives.
  • Evaluate existing tools and processes, providing recommendations for enhancements to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a business services or operational role.
  • Proven ability to drive process efficiencies in a meticulous environment.
  • Proficient in basic Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with RBC's systems and risk management processes related to business and client classification data.
  • General understanding of business and client classification frameworks.
  • Experience with JIRA in an Agile setting.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Background in client-facing roles, particularly in credit, risk, or operational capacities.
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
