Prolang, a leading language training provider, is currently seeking a dynamic, versatile, professional, and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Coordinator/Language Evaluator.


This full-time position involves supporting training logistics, client relations, and conducting evaluations of French and English for new clients.


An expert-level of French and English bilingualism is required.


The position is remote, but requires participation in monthly in-person coordination meetings.


Responsibilities:
  • Training Logistics and Client Relations:
    • Assist the Client Services Manager in organizing training schedules
    • Perform data entry in Prolang's CMS and online delivery platforms
    • Coordinate and manage instructor schedules, assigning courses and optimizing availabilities
    • Support the coordination and client logistics team in day-to-day training management and scheduling changes
    • Manage the participant evaluation process, including conducting second language assessments
    • Create, organize, and distribute client surveys
    • Manage student and teacher schedules as needed, ensuring they are informed of any schedule changes
    • Provide quality customer service by answering phone calls and emails and redirecting them when necessary
    • Answer inquiries about Prolang's classes in person and over the phone, direct inquiries to the Coordinator/Sales rep in charge

Language Evaluator:
  • Conduct evaluations of French and/or English language skills using Prolang's internal methodology
  • Explain the evaluation process to learners and provide reassurance
  • Assess learners' oral communication skills through phone or online placement tests for corporate classes
  • Retrieve and evaluate online placement test results
  • Apply Prolang's evaluation method and assign students to appropriate language levels
  • Type at a minimum speed of 30 WPM to transcribe responses and take notes while engaging in conversation with clients
  • Provide accurate descriptions and assessments of learners' competency and follow up with the evaluation coordinator as necessary
  • Complete registration files and provide feedback in learner files
  • Schedule or reschedule placement test appointments
  • Efficiently manage multiple learner files and consecutive evaluations, respecting client time and maintaining a steady rhythm and schedule
  • Follow up with coordination & sales teams as needed

Other:
  • Provide general support to teachers and the Prolang team
  • Manage a busy and fast-paced schedule, multitasking effectively
  • Demonstrate organizational and efficient work skills
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English
  • Work autonomously, manage a flexible schedule, and handle deadlines with ease
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Office365, Word, Excel) and online training software
  • Second language teaching experience is considered an asset
