Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Centre de services scolaire de Montréal. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will provide support to our speech therapists in various settings, including schools and educational institutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist speech therapists in the assessment and treatment of students with speech and language disorders.
  • Process files and paperwork related to student records and therapy sessions.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support students with speech and language disorders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
