Language Services Vendor Manager

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Language Services Vendor Manager to oversee our external team of language professionals, ensuring high-quality translations and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with project managers and sales teams to forecast project needs and allocate resources effectively.
- Identify and onboard specialized vendors who meet our quality standards and client needs.
- Manage vendor relationships, resolving issues and concerns that arise during project execution.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on their expertise, capacity, and quality standards.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and service-level agreements to ensure timely and high-quality translations.
- Collaborate with vendors to improve their performance, quality, and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as linguistics, translation, or international business.
- Proven experience in vendor management or supplier relationship management within the language services industry.
- Strong knowledge of translation, localization, and other language-related services.
- Ability to assess vendor capabilities, evaluate quality standards, and monitor performance against agreed-upon metrics.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software used in the language services industry.
