Job Overview:

As a Ramp Operations Team Leader, you will oversee the efficient and secure handling of aircraft at the airport, ensuring that all ground services are executed smoothly and on schedule. Your leadership will be vital in managing both passenger and cargo operations, contributing to the overall success of our aviation services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise ground handling staff during shifts to ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols. Provide mentorship and training to team members, enhancing their skills and performance. Direct the movement of aircraft to and from the terminal gates. Manage the loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail efficiently. Ensure aircraft cabins are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies between flights. Operate specialized equipment for transporting luggage and cargo, towing aircraft, and servicing onboard facilities. Maintain punctuality and readiness to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

Additional Duties:

Assist in the development and management of staffing schedules to guarantee adequate coverage for all flights. Perform other tasks as assigned to meet the operational needs of the company.

Qualifications:

Relevant prior experience in ground operations or a related field. Educational background in aviation or logistics preferred. Necessary certifications or licenses, if applicable. Security clearance or airport badge, if required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kg). Capability to carry heavy objects up and down stairs. Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping may be required. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and around operational noise.

Work Schedule:
