Position Overview:Afternoon Ramp Operations Specialists
Vancouver Air Gateway Operations
Shift Start Time: 2:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
We are currently in search of Afternoon Shift Ramp Operations Specialists for our Vancouver Air Gateway Operations.
Our facility is located in Richmond, BC.

As a Ramp Operations Specialist, you will engage in various outdoor activities related to aircraft operations.
This role is physically demanding and includes the following key responsibilities:
- Loading air containers and packages onto aircraft
- Operating ground support equipment
- Guiding aircraft during arrival and departure
- Ensuring safety equipment is clear around the aircraft and assisting with preparations for the next day
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
- Permanent schedule: Monday to Friday
- Commitment to an afternoon shift, five days a week ( 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
- Weekly hours typically range from 27 to 30
- Minimum of 20 hours per week required
- Must hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver's license for operating ramp vehicles
- Clean driving record required
- Availability for a five-day work week
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs without assistance
- No prior experience needed - training will be provided
- Safety footwear is mandatory
- Enjoyment of outdoor work, as the majority of the shift is spent outside
- Background checks will be conducted
All candidates must qualify for and obtain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC Pass) and demonstrate five (5) years of continuous residency and work history as per Transport Canada guidelines.
