Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Kenora Pizza LTD. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare and submit reports, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Operations and Administration: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is also required.
