Job Title: Strategic Pharmaceutical Partnerships Co-op

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our Pharmaceutical Partnerships department at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office.

About the Role:

This 8-month Co-op opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in creating strategic healthcare partnerships between Loblaw and external partners. You will work closely with our Senior Manager, Strategic Pharmaceutical Partnerships, to develop and implement business strategies that drive mutual value for our organization, our partner organizations, and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation of strategic healthcare partnerships between Loblaw and external partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partner organizations to identify opportunities for partnerships
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive mutual value for our organization, our partner organizations, and our customers
  • Measure the performance of existing strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
  • Working towards a post-secondary education (undergraduate or post-graduate diploma) in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Intermediate understanding of basic business tools, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic, as demonstrated through academic achievement, extracurriculars, or paid or volunteer work
  • Respect for diversity, and able to work with diverse personalities and styles
  • Able to travel to the Shoppers Drug Mart office 4 times per week
