Job Title: Housekeeping Aide

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at 3796893 Manitoba Ltd. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation is not available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
  • Screening Questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work? Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Are you willing to relocate for this position?
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Other Benefits: Free parking available, learning/training paid by employer, permanent employment, 40 hours per week, and English as the primary language of work.
