About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Crosswood Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports, to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise workers and projects, including overseeing apprenticeship training, recruiting and hiring workers, and carrying out related staffing actions.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, and that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other team members, to ensure that everyone is informed and up-to-date on project progress.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems promptly, using your expertise and judgment to find solutions that meet the needs of the project and the company.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

Our construction sites are dynamic and fast-paced environments, where you will be working with a variety of people, including contractors, subcontractors, and other team members. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in other challenging environments, and you must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
