- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years in a related field
- Design, implement, and assess human resources policies and initiatives.
- Provide guidance to management and staff regarding HR policies, benefits, and collective agreements.
- Establish and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate employee performance evaluations and development programs.
- Manage training initiatives and employee development.
- Research and recommend improvements for employee benefits and health safety practices.
- Advise senior leadership on HR matters.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of HR staff.
- Collaborate with management, union representatives, and HR consultants.
- Facilitate staff consultations and grievance processes.
- Administer payroll processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Evaluate work environments and procedures to enhance safety and well-being.
- Manage and review various projects and programs.
Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals.
Certifications- Professional development in personnel administration.
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with HR software and database management.
- Experience with data analysis and accounting software.
- Valid driver's license and personal transportation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Capable of managing pressure and maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and a team player.
- Demonstrated reliability and interpersonal effectiveness.
