We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and direct all accounting operational functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements.
- Assess accounting and internal control systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Guide departmental staff, providing training and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Work closely with the executive team to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation.
- Research, prepare, and execute Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation, and other departmental or firm-wide improvements.
- Manage daily cash and prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals.
- CPA certification required.
- Progressive accounting experience, including as a Manager Financial Reporting or Controller.
- Strong hands-on monthly financial reporting experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding technology, analytics, and management experience required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
