About the Role

The BC Public Service Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Division Operations to join our team. As a key member of the Assistant Deputy Minister's Office (ADMO), you will play a critical role in supporting the Division's operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Division's operations team
  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to enhance division operations
  • Collaborate with senior officials to provide advice on administrative matters
  • Supervise and mentor administrative and technical staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners and government agencies

Requirements

  • Diploma in office administration, public administration, political science, communications, or a related field
  • Experience supervising administrative and/or technical staff
  • Experience navigating and providing advice on administrative policies and procedures, including HR
  • Experience in a senior administrative role
  • Experience dealing with executive members on highly confidential and sensitive issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with related industry stakeholders
  • Experience writing formal business reports, divisional business plans, and email correspondences for senior officials
  • More than one year of experience in supervising administrative and/or technical staff
  • More than two years of combined experience in navigating and providing advice on administrative policies and procedures, including HR
