Role Overview

As a Customer Service and Sales Quotations Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with custom apparel and team sports jersey quotations, employing a consultative approach to navigate a variety of options professionally.
  • Responding to inquiries via email, online chat, and phone regarding order quotations.
  • Providing updates on customer orders and addressing follow-up requests.
  • Resolving customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Processing payments and entering orders into our accounting and internal systems.
  • Ensuring that automated and semi-automated web orders are accurately reflected in our accounting and production systems.
  • Reporting on all quotations, sales, and production activities.

Online Merchandising Support:

  • Updating data for our custom garment websites to ensure accurate pricing, product details, and descriptions.
  • Sourcing new product offerings to feature on our online platforms through supplier product data and images.
  • Adding proprietary new custom garment products to our online channels.
  • Providing insights into customer feedback and behavior, collaborating with management on merchandising and marketing enhancements for our web properties.

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Conducting inside sales by following up on inbound leads and requests with a positive and helpful demeanor.
  • Reaching out to potential audiences to offer quotations, including recreational sports leagues, teams, and schools for their annual sourcing of sports uniforms and custom apparel.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary diploma in Business, eCommerce, or Sports Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional demeanor with a customer-focused communication style.
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or Inside Sales Representative, managing phone, email, and online communications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High computer literacy with standard office tools (Microsoft Office / 365, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Experience with Shopify and familiarity with CRM software such as Zendesk, Oracle Sales Cloud, or Salesforce.
  • Active participation in organized recreational sports teams (hockey, baseball, soccer, etc.) is highly desirable to understand the needs of the target market for this role.
