Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at zeroG - AI in Aviation. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Operations Management
    • Process semi-monthly payrolls and off-cycle payrolls
    • Manage RRSPs & DPSPs related contributions
    • Oversee interactions with our payroll provider
  • Payroll Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain files and records
    • Generate reports
    • Assist with year-end documents
    • Prepare journal entries
    • Participate in audits
  • Compliance and Customer Service
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements
    • Keep up to date with current payroll-related legislation
    • Provide expert customer service and support
Requirements
  • College diploma in accounting or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll or similar
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Accreditation as a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP), an asset
  • Experience acting as a point of contact with an external payroll provider, an asset
