Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Planning Manager to develop and implement planning strategies for new build projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Planning Strategies: Create and execute planning strategies for new build projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and planning policies.
- Liaise with Regulatory Bodies: Collaborate with local authorities, planning committees, and other regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permissions and approvals.
- Ensure Compliance: Verify that all projects adhere to planning laws and environmental guidelines.
- Facilitate Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration throughout the planning process.
- Prepare and Submit Applications: Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications, including detailed plans, reports, and environmental assessments.
- Manage Budgets: Prepare and manage budgets related to planning activities, monitoring expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
- Research and Provide Advice: Research the planning history of development sites and provide appropriate advice.
- Negotiate with Landowners: Identify landowners of potential development sites and liaise with landowners/agents throughout the negotiation and acquisition process to ensure successful completion.
