About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Evaluator to join our team at ALLTIME INVESTMENTS INC. As an Insurance Risk Evaluator, you will play a critical role in reviewing individual and group applications for insurance, evaluating new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, insurance premiums, extent of coverage, and other conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Evaluate Insurance Applications: Carefully review individual and group applications for insurance, ensuring that all necessary information is provided and that the applications meet our company's underwriting guidelines.
  • Determine Insurance Risks and Premiums: Evaluate new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, insurance premiums, extent of coverage, and other conditions, using medical reports, rate tables, and other documents as necessary.
  • Ensure Compliance with Government Regulations: Ensure that all insurance applications and policies comply with relevant government regulations and laws.
  • Provide Underwriting Advice: Provide expert underwriting advice to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of their insurance options and risks.
  • Prepare Underwriting Reports: Prepare detailed underwriting reports for clients and internal stakeholders, outlining the results of our evaluation and any recommendations for insurance coverage.
Requirements
  • Education: A college or CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as insurance, finance, or business.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
