Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the distribution, verification, and reconciliation of cash floats, as well as managing large cash transactions and supervising cashiers on a shift basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the Cage team, providing input for team members' performance evaluations and objectives.
  • Responsible for completing and monitoring audits related to cash handling, including large cash transactions and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare the Cage for opening and closing, distributing, verifying, and reconciling cash floats.
  • Verify or complete large transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Document and reconcile cash and cash equivalents, providing reports as required.
  • Participate in Cage corporate training and assist in conducting site training.
  • Monitor and report all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities.
  • Respond to, resolve, or escalate cage issues as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with operational departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external guests.
  • Comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

Qualification Requirements

  • High School Diploma; Post-Secondary education an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume cash handling.
  • Supervisor experience is an asset.
  • Slots or Table Game experience is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The role requires a flexible schedule, including non-traditional work hours, including holidays, evenings, overnights, or weekend shifts.
  • Bilingualism (Fr/Eng) is an asset.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older.
  • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick).
