As an Information Technology Coordinator at Johnson Electric, you will be instrumental in overseeing and optimizing our IT infrastructure. Your role encompasses the development and enforcement of protocols, offering guidance on technology decisions, delivering technical assistance, and managing the installation of both software and hardware. You will also monitor system efficiency and ensure adherence to IT compliance standards. Effective collaboration with various teams and providing robust support to end-users will be crucial for your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and configuration of departmental software and hardware, including network-ready PCs.
  • Facilitate network and telecommunication access for all staff while educating them on proper usage and protocols.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and provide support for Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Deliver end-user training and support as necessary.
  • Manage the allocation of corporate mobile devices and IT procurement for the facility.
  • Lead IT-related projects, both software and hardware, coordinating with corporate IT for comprehensive support.
  • Ensure the security of data and network access.
  • Advise on IT strategies, policies, and procedures based on thorough evaluations and anticipated needs.
  • Support vulnerability remediation efforts in alignment with the organization's security policies.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving Microsoft SQL issues.
  • Experience in managing a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in Windows 7 and 10.
  • Familiarity with Zscaler Office Platform is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Cisco VoIP telephone systems.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory is advantageous.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Excellent computer proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated integrity and reliability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
