Sessional Instructor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sessional Instructor to join our team at North Island College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver instructional materials for nursing courses
- Teach and assess student learning in a variety of settings
- Develop and implement creative strategies to engage students and promote learning
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their progress and performance
- Maintain accurate records of student enrollment and achievement
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field (preferred)
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM)
- Current CPR level HCP certification
- Experience teaching adults in a post-secondary setting
- Expertise and experience in Adult Surgery and/or Mental Health
- Experience with online learning management systems
- Proficiency in computer applications and software
- Valid BC driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
