- North Island College invites qualified candidates to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
This program is conducted in collaboration with Vancouver Island University.
- The role includes instructing NUR 276: Consolidated Practice II for Option C BSN students.
Important Note: Candidates should possess clinical expertise in Mental Health and/or Adult Surgery.
Location: Various healthcare agencies in the region.
The selected candidate will be expected to employ innovative teaching strategies, maintain thorough documentation, and exhibit effective conflict resolution skills.
The teaching schedule will be adaptable to align with program requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree is preferred
- Experience teaching at the postsecondary level
- Current registration with BCCNM and CPR certification

- Expertise in Adult Surgery and/or Mental Health
- Interest in Indigenous and global health is advantageous
- Experience in fostering engaging learning experiences
- Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and computer skills
