Niagara Children's Centre is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute to our mission of empowering children and youth.

As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication challenges faced by young individuals. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing personalized treatment plans that foster their growth and enhance their quality of life.

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to create a supportive and nurturing environment for children's development.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication disorders in children and youth.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to enhance speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educators to ensure consistent support and progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and client progress.
Qualifications:
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • Post-secondary degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
  • Excellent clinical skills and experience in providing therapy to young individuals.
  • CPR and NVCI certifications.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
