Niagara Children's Centre is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute to our mission of empowering children and youth.

As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in young individuals. Your expertise will help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

This position involves collaborating closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and support the overall well-being of each child.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication needs and strengths.
  • Design and implement evidence-based therapy programs tailored to individual children.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide guidance and support throughout the treatment process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative care environment.
Qualifications:
  • Registration with CASLPO (College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario).
  • Post-secondary degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Strong understanding of child development and communication disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • CPR and NVCI certifications.

Bilingualism is an asset.
