Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Midtown Honda. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Direct customers to the relevant department or individual.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Ensure all customer waiting areas are clean and stocked with refreshments and snacks.
  • Coordinate between the BDC and Sales team for e-leads and appointments.
  • Operate a multi-line telephone system and transfer calls to the appropriate sales representative or department.
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner and coordinate customer payments and accounts.
  • Perform various clerical and administrative duties.
  • Distribute mail and coordinate courier pickups.
  • Maintain company records and files in their proper locations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Office Administration diploma would be considered an asset.
  • Licensing experience would be considered an asset.
  • Relevant Receptionist experience.
  • Dealership setting an asset.
  • Cashier experience.
  • Able to write simple correspondence, including memos and letters.
  • Knowledge of vehicles, equipment, and/or services offered.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • Able to maintain filing systems and basic database.
  • Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
