About the Role

As a Senior Associate in our Wealth Management team, you will play a key role in supporting the development and management of our clients' wealth. You will work closely with our lead Portfolio Managers and other team members to provide exceptional client service and contribute to business development and sales-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients, ensuring their investment objectives and risk tolerance are met.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities to gather additional assets and/or increase revenue, and develop and distribute client communication and marketing pieces.
  • Administrative Support: Review practices to ensure administrative processes are streamlined and administrative tasks are completed and logged for tracking purposes.
  • Team Collaboration: Build effective working relationships across the team and with various business lines within Scotiabank.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in the securities industry.
  • Education: Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct Practices Handbook (CPH), and the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.
  • Registration: Registered as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional client service skills.
