About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our Environmental team in Burnaby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for independently managing a variety of environmental investigation projects, including Phase I and II ESAs, Detailed Site Investigations, and Remediation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project planning, implementation, and coordination of fieldwork;
  • Review of project budgets and expenses to ensure good project performance;
  • Preparation and review of reports for due diligence investigations and submissions to regulatory bodies;
  • Proposal preparation for clients, demonstrating skills and abilities to develop positive business relationships;
  • Management of provincial and/or federal contaminated sites assessments, site remediation, and risk assessments;
  • Supervision of junior and intermediate professionals;
  • Experience with hazardous material surveys/mitigation projects is considered an asset.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting experience in BC;
  • University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geoscience;
  • Professional status or designation (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag.);
  • Team player;
  • Demonstrated experience in project management on a variety of small, medium, and large projects;
  • The ability to deal tactfully and effectively with clients and co-workers;
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-demand, fast-paced environment;
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle;
  • Strong written and communication skills;
  • Business development skills.

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is between $104,000 to $138,000. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
