Carewest Innovative Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Attendant to join our team. As a Nursing Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients.
About the Role:- Provide on-going client care, observing, monitoring, and reporting on client status/condition.
- Deliver prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure.
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional healthcare team to maintain and improve quality of life for our clients.
- Ensure that changes in client status are reported to the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Graduation from Grade 12 is required, plus graduation from an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.
- Must be physically capable of managing the frequent lifting, transferring, and repositioning of clients.
- Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory is required.
