Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Carewest Innovative Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
About the Role:- Provide on-going client care, observing and monitoring client status and reporting changes to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Deliver prescribed medications accurately, adhering to policy and procedure.
- Work collaboratively with the interprofessional healthcare team to maintain and improve client quality of life.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients, adhering to Carewest's Frame of Reference, Philosophy of Care, and policies.
- Graduation from Grade 12 and completion of an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physical capability to manage frequent lifting, transferring, and repositioning of clients.
- Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory.
