Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Verve Senior Living in Richmond Hill. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Accountability Objective:As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, including assessing their needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Background/Qualifications:- Minimum of grade 12 education required
- Recognized nursing license (RPN licensing) and in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Certified in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications
- Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting is considered an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in the English language
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and to evaluate and meet resident care needs
- Participate in and adhere to continuous quality improvement standards
- Assess the needs of individual residents and organize plan of care to promote maximum resident independence
- Participate in the pre-move-in and ongoing assessments on the health and wellness needs of individual residents
- Ensure the resident's file is established, with proper documentation and safe practices related to medication administration processes
- Update residents' plan of care every 6 months, or as required
