Position Overview

As a Food and Beverage Server at Sechelt Saffron Restaurant Ltd., you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Address any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Billing and Payments: Present bills to customers and accept various forms of payment including cash, credit or debit cards, and travelers cheques.
  • Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items, including daily specials, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a tidy dining environment.
  • Wine Expertise: Advise customers on wine selections and manage the inventory of wines and glassware.
  • Order Management: Take customer orders and relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Special Assistance: Provide assistance to clients or guests with special needs to ensure their comfort.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
