Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at Sechelt Saffron Restaurant Ltd. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Present bills to customers and accept payment in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs, such as dietary restrictions or mobility issues.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience
    • Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week.
