About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing interventions and care for patients with defined health challenges and predictable outcomes
  • Collaborate with patients and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Work effectively with Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing required
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Experience with Alzheimer's and other related Dementias an asset
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and effective communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as an effective team member
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
