The Support Worker for Respite Services plays a crucial role in delivering temporary personal assistance, care, and companionship to clients during intervals when their primary caregivers are unavailable. This position emphasizes the importance of fostering independence, dignity, comfort, and overall well-being of the clients.

Key Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized training program as a certified Personal Support Worker or an equivalent qualification in Nursing Assistance.
  • Certification in Palliative Care for Frontline Workers or a comparable credential.
  • Training in Skin and Wound Care specifically for Unregulated Care Providers.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Current immunization status.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records check.
