As a pivotal member of the IBM Technology Expert Labs, you will engage in delivering exceptional services tailored to our clients' needs. Your expertise in IBM products will enable you to integrate the necessary technologies and services, assisting customers in overcoming their most significant challenges. Working within IBM Technology Expert Labs allows you to expedite value delivery while clients concentrate on their core business operations.
Key Responsibilities
The IBM Systems Lab Services division seeks an IT Storage Delivery Consultant proficient in IBM storage technologies to spearhead both pre-sales and post-sales client interactions. Your role will facilitate the adoption of IBM Spectrum Scale and FlashSystem Storage Cyber Resiliency solutions, ultimately contributing to IBM's revenue growth. Candidates should possess a proven track record in IBM storage and cybersecurity consulting, showcasing strong implementation skills and familiarity with architectural methodologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting and delivering consulting assessments, workshops, and technical deployments of IBM FlashSystem, TSS, IBM Spectrum Virtualize, and IBM San Volume Controller.
- Focusing on enhancing clients' Cyber Security posture through core competencies in cyber resiliency, backup and recovery, encryption, cloud solutions, scripting, and storage management.
- Planning, constructing, and documenting storage architectures and designs aligned with business, financial, and technical requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in delivering IBM storage consulting assessments and architecting storage infrastructures.
- At least 3 years of experience in client-facing communication, requirements analysis, and documentation.
- Proven project management experience with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% annually.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IBM storage consulting and infrastructure planning.
- Experience with NIST frameworks and Cyber Security practices.
Location Requirements
Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
