Within the IBM Technology Expert Labs, you will expedite the realization of value, ensuring that our clients can concentrate on their core business operations.
Key Responsibilities
The IBM Systems Lab Services division is seeking a proficient IT Storage Delivery Consultant with a deep understanding of IBM storage technologies. Your role will involve leading and executing both pre-sales and post-sales client interactions aimed at facilitating the adoption of IBM Spectrum Scale and FlashSystem Storage Cyber Resiliency solutions, ultimately contributing to IBM's revenue growth. Ideal candidates will possess a proven track record in IBM storage and cybersecurity consultative engagements, showcasing strong implementation skills and familiarity with architectural methodologies.
You will be tasked with developing and conducting consulting assessments, workshops, and the technical deployment of IBM FlashSystem, TSS, IBM Spectrum Virtualize, and IBM San Volume Controller, with a particular emphasis on enhancing clients' Cyber Security frameworks. Essential competencies include expertise in cyber resiliency, backup and recovery, encryption, cloud technologies, scripting, and storage management. Additionally, you will design and document storage architectures tailored to our clients' IT infrastructure and transformation initiatives, aligning with their business, financial, and technical needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in delivering IBM storage consulting assessments and architecting storage infrastructures for client data centers.
- At least 3 years of experience in client-facing communication, requirements analysis, documentation, and report presentations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and collaboration across global teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% annually.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in IBM storage consulting and infrastructure planning.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in client communication and project documentation.
- Experience with NIST frameworks and Cyber Security practices.
Location Requirements
Candidates must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
