Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately maintain and balance various financial accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
    • Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including trial balances and statistical reports.
    • Provide financial data and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Tax Compliance
    • Prepare and submit tax returns in a timely manner.
  • Financial Planning
    • Assist in the development of financial plans and budgets.
  • General Ledger Maintenance
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledgers.
  • Depreciation and Asset Management
    • Calculate and record depreciation of fixed assets.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration
    • Prepare and process payroll, including calculating and preparing cheques.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a financial management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent financial management and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
